Sara Ann (Sam) is the President of Exsurco Medical, a medical device company based in Northeast OH serving the Burn, Trauma and Tissue Bank markets with innovative surgical devices. At Exsurco Medical, our vision is to advance the healing power of skin. The power of what we do is around improving the lives of patients by improving the technology of burn care.

Exsurco is an active member of the American Association of Tissue Banks, Donate Life, the American Burn Association and the Phoenix Society. These organizations are bound together by honoring donation, patients and burn survivors. Sara Ann’s professional background includes commercial roles at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (a Johnson & Johnson company) and at Smith & Nephew Wound Management Division where she held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

A graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Sara Ann received her Master of Science Degree and is also the author of several peer reviewed articles. Now a resident of Avon, OH, she is the Board Chairwoman at University Hospitals St. John Medical Center in Westlake OH.
