Providing Burn Care is a physically and emotionally demanding job. AND, it is a rewarding and inspiring profession. It’s the work we do…. Understanding what we bring to this work and what we take from doing this work will only make us stronger providers, healthier in relationships in and out of the burn center and more grounded as individuals.  There are important steps you can take to keep yourself healthy even while you are caring for others. During this session, some of these strategies will be highlighted; participants will learn strategies to use at the burn center, at home, and within to create a healthy framework to continue in the profession of burn care. Follow-up discussions will be offered following Phoenix World Burn Congress to allow for a more personal group discussion.
