- Overview of the topic from the presenter
- Describe the basic pathophysiology of burn scar.
- Identify the research needs related to burn scar
- Compare scar treatment approaches including conservative measures, medication injections, surgical scar revision, and LASER procedures.
- Describe the logistics and insurance coverage when reviewing laser providers
- Listen to each survivor’s experience with hypertrophic scarring and understand the impact on their recovery
